A Lecture Series on Introduction to Strategic issues and Foreign Relations of Pakistan was conducted by the Centre for International Strategic Studies (CISS) for students of The Millennium University Campus (TMUC), Roots. The two-week series started on the 10th of July and culminated on the 20th of July, 2017. It was followed by a certificate distribution ceremony amongst the students who attended the course.
The series covered a variety of topics ranging from Pakistan’s security challenges, its role in war on terror, its nuclear program and Pakistan’s relations with its neighbors and major powers of the world. The project was aimed to educate and better equip the young scholars with an understanding of Pakistan’s national and foreign policy objectives. It was also felt that the students who secure admissions in foreign universities should have a sound understanding of core issues of Pakistan to dispel the misperceptions regarding Pakistan in the West.
It was agreed upon, both, by CISS and TMUC that more of such courses and training will be run for the benefit of the students.
